I used to raise goats. Before that, I was in the US Coast Guard. Now I'm a graduate student in George Mason University's History Department. I write mostly about history and genealogy research, with a bit of earth and sewing thread thrown in. Oh, I also volunteer at a Fire & Rescue Station, just to keep the adrenaline flowing.

I only wish I could find what was on any map outside Palestine center….from 1838 to 1909
It’s tough. I’m havin the same problem in the Panhandle. The population just wasn’t sufficent to support the need for a lot of map making.
