Penelope Rufus Nettles August 1998 – October 8, 2008
Avid rabbit hunter, irrepressible chow hound, and best friend to my daughter.
After suffering from congestive heart failure since last Thursday, and with no improvement from the medication, we took her to the vet where she died peacefully in my arms.
We buried her in the pasture near the working pen.

It’s so sad when they finally leave us. She’s on Rainbrow Bridge now.Hope The Admiral isn’t too choked up.

It’s hard to lose a companion. So sorry to read about this.
